Los Tres Magueyes Mexican Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings

The food was delicious. The chips and salsa appetizer were good. I ordered Burrito Cancun and it was great and filling. The portions of food are very good. The design of the furniture in the rest is amazing. The details of the art work on the chairs, tables, and walls were amazing. The pop rock music didn't fit in with the ambience. The service was average. The delicious food will be the reason I return.

Had an amazing time. Our waiter was amazing. Always asking if everything was good, if we needed anything and if he could do anything for us. My colleagues mentioned to waitor that it was my birthday. So the staff came and sang and put a sombrero on me. Again amazing. Highly recommended. Portions are huge. I have food left over for my midnight snack.

Visiting from Michigan. We want some Mexican food. So my sister insisted we try this place. The staff were so friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The food was amazing

We previously lived down the street, and this was our first stop once we landed at RDU. Oh... we truly miss this place. The queso and chips are addictive. The portions are HUGE and reasonably priced. While we stopped in for lunch, we were full through dinner. My favorite is the fajita burrito, and I always enjoyed the skinny margaritas. Whether in town for business or stopping in with family and friends, you won't be disappointed. We wish New England had Mexican restaurants like this.

Easy 5 stars. Food was delicious and great bang for your buck. This meal was $20. Nice atmosphere. Server was flying too fast and often interupted but I cant complain cause the food was right and great, cheese dip too

I've had lots of people tell me they'd like Los Tres, but hadn't made it yet. We were headed to an Asian Fusion place and decided to detour. We got cheese dip with a bowl of jalenpenos to start as always. The cheese was really good and the jalenpenos were the firmest and most spicy I've had in a while. I got the Tacos de Camarón which were larger than I thought they would be and overflowing with ingredients. There was quite a bit of grilled shrimp in them and the flavors of the topics set it off well. We were definitely very happy with our meal and the bartender who took excellent care of us. Definitely, a must try.

It was a great first impression! The hostess was polite and we were promptly seated. Our waiter was extremely kind and personable. We never once had to ask for anything- refill or otherwise. We were very well taken care of (even on this busy Valentine’s Day weekend)! The food was also delicious and the portion sizes were very generous for the price. We will absolutely be coming back and might just make this our new spot.

I stopped by Los Tres Magueyes for lunch with my partner after a morning run, and overall, it was a decent experience. The service was friendly and impressively quick, which was perfect since we were still in our post-run groove. The restaurant itself is lively and fun, with very bright colors that give it a cheerful vibe. The food arrived hot and fresh, but I did notice that the chicken tasted a little off—nothing too extreme, but enough that it caught my attention. Everything else was solid, and the portions were satisfying for lunch. If you’re looking for a colorful, fast, and friendly spot for a casual meal, this place works. Just be mindful of the chicken dishes. Hit like and message if this review helps
